Built on Real Conversations

We started quinarelidex because we kept seeing the same thing. Smart business owners stuck in negotiations that weren't working. Not because they lacked talent, but because they didn't have the right framework to work within.

How We Got Here

Back in 2019, I was consulting for a manufacturing company in Melbourne. They were losing deals left and right, not because their product was weak, but because their negotiation approach was all over the place. No structure. No fallback positions. Just hope and improvisation.

That project turned into three more. Then five. By early 2021, it became clear that there was a real need for practical negotiation training that didn't feel like a university lecture. So we built quinarelidex as a place where business people could learn the mechanics of negotiation through actual case studies and scenario work.

We're not promising miracles here. But what we can offer is a structured approach to business negotiations that's based on patterns we've seen work across different industries and deal sizes.

What Drives Our Work

These aren't corporate buzzwords we pulled from a handbook. They're the principles that guide how we build programs and work with participants.

Evidence-Based Methods

Every technique we teach comes from documented negotiation research or our own field testing. We don't include content just because it sounds good.

Context Matters

A negotiation tactic that works in tech procurement might fall flat in construction contracts. We focus on helping you adapt strategies to your specific industry and situation.

Iterative Learning

Negotiation skills develop through practice and feedback loops. Our programs are designed to give you multiple opportunities to test approaches and refine your technique.

Our Training Framework

We've refined this approach over multiple program cycles, and it's proven effective for participants across different experience levels.

Foundation Phase

We start with the core mechanics of negotiation preparation. This includes how to map stakeholder positions, identify leverage points, and build negotiation ranges. Most people skip this step and wonder why their conversations go sideways.

Application Work

Theory only gets you so far. We use scenario-based exercises where you work through realistic business situations. These aren't hypothetical case studies pulled from textbooks. They're based on actual negotiations we've analyzed or participated in.

Feedback Integration

After each exercise, we break down what worked and what didn't. This isn't about right or wrong answers. It's about understanding why certain approaches produce better outcomes in specific contexts.

Strategy Development

By the end of the program, you'll have developed your own negotiation frameworks that fit your industry and deal types. The goal isn't to turn you into a clone of some negotiation guru. It's to help you build a system that works for your specific context.

Who's Behind This

quinarelidex isn't a massive operation. We're a focused team that values quality over scale.

Program Director

I spent fifteen years working in commercial finance before transitioning to negotiation consulting in 2018. Most of my experience comes from mid-market deals in Australia and Southeast Asia, which means I've seen plenty of negotiations that went well and plenty that didn't.

What I learned during those years is that negotiation isn't about being aggressive or manipulative. It's about preparation, pattern recognition, and knowing when to adjust your approach. That's what we focus on at quinarelidex.

Our next program cycle starts in September 2025. If you're interested in developing structured negotiation capabilities for your business, reach out and we can discuss whether the program is a good fit for your situation.
